ENVI

The Environment for Visualizing Images (ENVI) is a robust easy-to-use image processing system which provides analysis and visualization of single-band, multispectral, hyperspectral, and radar remote sensing data. ENVI's point-and-click graphical user interface (GUI) makes learning and using the system to process images easier and faster. ENVI is built on IDL, an array-based interactive 4th generation language (4GL) .
ENVI offers a variety of display functions: scroll (shows full image) and zoom windows, built-in color tables, XYZ profiles, 3D perspectives, image draping over a Digital Elevation Model (DEM), surface plots, interactive scatter plots and flexible image output and annotation.
